Coconut-Free Soap & Skin Care

Coconut-free soap made without coconut oil, coconut-derived surfactants, or lauric acid derivatives. If you have tried natural or handmade soap before and still reacted, coconut oil is often the reason. Lauric acid, the dominant fatty acid in coconut oil, is a known sensitizer for a significant number of people with reactive or easily irritated skin, even in bar soap form.

This collection uses a different oil base entirely: olive oil, hemp seed oil, jojoba, and castor. The result is a gentler lather, a softer bar, and a formula that tends to be well-tolerated by people who have given up on natural soap. Every product in this collection is also available in fragrance-free and unscented versions for skin that reacts to essential oils as well.
