Which One Do You Need?
The Hemp + Jojoba Castile Soap is the personal care option. It's made with olive oil, hemp seed oil, jojoba oil, and castor oil, no coconut oil, no synthetic surfactants. Use it as foaming hand soap, body wash, or a gentle face wash. Most liquid castile soaps on the market, including the most popular national brand, use coconut oil as the primary base. This one does not, which makes it one of the few genuinely coconut-free options available.
The Pure Coconut Oil Cleaning Concentrate is the household workhorse. Three ingredients: coconut oil, potassium hydroxide, water. One 16 oz bottle makes 8+ gallons of finished cleaner for dishes, floors, counters, and laundry. It rinses clean, cuts grease effectively, and contains nothing that doesn't need to be there.
What They Have in Common
- Made from scratch in small batches - not blended from a premade base
- Unscented - no essential oils, no fragrance, no masking agents
- Full ingredient transparency - what's on the label is what's in the bottle
- No synthetic surfactants, no preservatives, no fillers
- Packaged in glass to keep the formula stable and your plastic use low
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these ready to use or do I need to dilute them?
The castile soap can be used as-is in a standard pump dispenser or diluted for foaming dispensers (roughly 1 part soap to 3-4 parts water). The coconut oil cleaning concentrate is a true concentrate and should always be diluted before use - dilution ratios are included with your order.
Is the castile soap safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. The Hemp + Jojoba Castile is formulated specifically without coconut oil or coconut-derived surfactants, which are a common but underacknowledged trigger for skin reactivity. It contains no fragrance, no essential oils, and no synthetic additives. If you've reacted to standard castile soaps before, this formula is worth trying.
Can the coconut oil concentrate be used on skin?
No. The coconut oil cleaning concentrate is formulated for household cleaning tasks, not for skin contact. For hand soap or body wash, choose the Hemp + Jojoba Castile instead.
Are these available in scented versions?
Both concentrates are unscented by design. This makes them suitable for fragrance-sensitive households and gives you the option to add your own essential oils to the castile when diluting, if preferred. If you want a pre-scented natural soap option, our bar soap collection offers several scent blends.
Both products are made in Flagler County, Florida. Free shipping on orders over $50. Join the Sea Spray Soap Rewards Program to earn points on every purchase, review, and visit, and subscribe to your favorites for effortless restocking on your schedule.
