If a coconut allergy has kept your household off every natural stain stick on the shelf, this is the one made for you. Same grease-cutting citrus power as our original stain stick, built on a tallow base instead of coconut oil.

    What's In It

Tallow, castor oil, babassu oil, sodium citrate, and d-limonene, the natural compound that gives citrus its scent and its grease-cutting power. That's the whole formula. No synthetic fragrance, no dyes, no sulfates, and no coconut oil or coconut derivatives.

Contains babassu oil, a palm-family oil. If you have a coconut or tree nut allergy, patch test before use.

    What It's For

Grease, oil, food stains, sweat, wine, grass, the stuff that sets in if you wait until laundry day. Rub it directly onto the stain before washing and let the d-limonene start breaking down what regular detergent alone can't touch.

    How to Use

Wet the stained area, or apply directly to dry fabric if you're pre-treating right away. Rub the stick onto the stain and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, longer for anything set-in or dried. Launder as usual. For heavily soiled items like work clothes or sports uniforms, apply before the garment goes in the hamper rather than waiting until wash day.

    Coconut-Free, Plastic-Free

Every ingredient in this formula is coconut-free. Tallow, castor oil, and babassu oil stand in for the coconut oil in our original stain stick, so it works just as hard without the allergy risk. The stick itself comes in a 3 oz recyclable cardboard push-up tube. No plastic bottle, no spray trigger, no single-use packaging headed for a landfill.

Pairs naturally with the Coconut-Free Natural Laundry Soap and the Natural Enzyme Laundry Booster (already coconut-free) for a complete allergy-safe routine, or get all three at once in the Coconut-Free Laundry Starter Kit.

    Questions We Actually Get Asked

What's different between this and the original Citrus Stain Stick?

The formula. This version replaces coconut oil with a tallow, castor oil, and babassu oil blend, so it is safe for coconut-sensitive households. Both versions use the same d-limonene for grease and stain-lifting power, so cleaning performance is the same.

Is this safe for coconut allergies?

Yes, there is no coconut oil or coconut-derived ingredient anywhere in this formula. One note: it does contain babassu oil, a palm-family oil. If you have a coconut or tree nut allergy, patch test before use.

Will this work on set-in or dried stains?

Yes, though older stains need more time. Apply the stick, let it sit for at least 30 minutes (longer for anything that is already dried in), then launder as usual. Repeat before washing again if the stain is still visible.

Is it safe for colors and delicate fabrics?

Yes, when used as directed. As with any new stain treatment, we would suggest testing an inconspicuous spot first on delicate or dark fabrics before treating a visible area.

Is the Coconut-Free Stain Stick biodegradable and septic-safe?

Yes. The formula is biodegradable and safe for septic systems, and the packaging is plastic-free and recyclable.
