Why It's Built This Way
Calamine is zinc oxide and iron oxide. Here it's mixed straight into the oils before the bar sets, which is what gives it that natural pink tone, not a dye added later. The lavender is two essential oils instead of one, so it reads soft and a little herbal rather than sharp. Nothing else is in this bar for appearance. If an ingredient's here, it's doing something.

Yes. No coconut oil and no coconut-derived surfactants anywhere in the formula. The base is tallow, rice bran oil, olive oil, shea butter, and castor oil. If sodium cocoate or coco-glucoside are the ingredients you react to, this formula doesn't have those.
Will the lavender bother my sensitive skin?
Most people with sensitive skin tolerate lavender essential oil without issue. If you react to all fragrance including essential oils, our fragrance-free bars are the better fit. The travel bar is a good way to patch test first.
What does calamine do in this bar?
